General Characteristics

• provides real time monitoring of the water quality parameters on Bistrita river in three locations: Bicaz, Roznov and Letea
• is based on a client/server architecture
• the number of clients is unlimited
• the communication between the server and the clients is based on the TCP/IP protocol

Server Characteristics

• transfers data from Datalogger and saves it in a local database
• generates application's events using transferred data
• mantains secure connections with the clients and transmits to them last measured values, last system events and datasets for reports generation

Client Characteristics

• connects with the server using authentication
• displays the last measured and calculated values
• shows the last system events

• generates predefined reports using Microsoft Excel format
• generates reports of measured values or mean, maximum and minimum values for a parameter
• creates printable version of reports
• exports report data using a general available format
• generates graphs based on measured or calculated values
